Controlling your phone from your PC is convenient. On paper, it is also a settings menu.

The decision was to build everything around an interruption. A call or a text arrives, and for a few seconds the ordinary business of a room is suspended until phone and PC fall into sync and the room settles again. The studio NotReal made a series of films on that single structure. Each one moves from a real environment into an abstract world that nods to the flow of Windows 11, so the sync arrives not as a background process but as a small occasion. Nothing was added to the feature. The ceremony was built around it.

Outcome

People stopped to watch a film about a settings feature. That says less about the films than about how rarely software is given a sense of occasion. The smallest features are where a brand’s standards show.
